THE NATURE PATHS
In Juankoski there is the Nature Reserve Area Pisa with maintained and marked nature paths and the observation tower. On the top of Pisa Hill there are the boundary marks of the Treaty of Täyssinä. Starting places on the Salmenpelto road or road number 5701.

A 1 km long nature path runs through the urban area of Säyneinen, along the Ryöpänjoki River.

Other nature paths are in the district of Salpatupa in Säyneinen, where it is possible to camp. There are also nature paths in the countryside surrounding the Kivennapa manor house, in Muuruvesi and around Tiirantupa in Juankoski.

SNOWMOBILE ROUTES
The snowmobile route maintained by the Town of Juankoski runs through the town district from the municipality of Juankoski (starting places at the service stations of SEO and ST 1) to the manor house hotel, Kivennapa. There are also snowmobile routes maintained by the Snowmobile Club in the district of Juankoski. Routes are open when there is enough snow cover. Maps for snowmobile safaris are available, for example,  in the info points of the town hall and in the manor house hotel, Kivennapa.
